Hollow fibre membrane
The nitrogen generation technology that uses hollow fiber membranes is based on a dimensional separation of oxygen and nitrogen molecules.
Atmospheric compressed air is separated within hollow polymer fibers that have selective permeability, resulting in the production of nitrogen with a selectable level of purity as a service gas and enriched oxygen as a waste product. It is an extremely reliable, low-maintenance, static process, that is particularly suitable for applications that require large quantities of low purity nitrogen.
